PRIVACY POLICY:
We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.
SECURITY POLICY:
Your payment and personal information are always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.
SAFETY POLICY:
Your health and safety is the primary focus of the Academy. We strongly recommend that all attendees be fully vaccinated before the event start date. The best policy is for “you to do you.” We encourage every attendee to make themselves comfortable by self-moderating their own precautionary measures while respecting the comfort level of those around them. Vaccinations are the best way to shed the burden of health concerns and get ready to spend some much needed time relaxing and enjoying the company of fellow appliquers. We expect each attendee to monitor their own health condition and refrain from attending classes in person if they are feeling sick and will respectfully ask an attendee to step away if they are exhibiting COVID symptoms. The Academy will have a Health Coordinator on-call who, for a fee, can offer rapid and PCR COVID tests, antibody tests, and even administer vaccinations (Moderna, Pfizer, and J&J) if requested. The Academy will use every effort to protect your safety. Please keep in mind that the ongoing public health crisis is organic and everchanging. We will follow all local and CDC guidelines during this event and, as such, these policies are subject to change without notice.
REFUND POLICY:
We strive to be as flexible as possible, but can only provide the picturesque getaway and world class lodging that we do through tireless negotiations of contracts and deadlines ourselves. The deadlines set in this policy are the latest possible deadlines we could set (only 6 weeks prior to the event) before our own obligations to the venue must be made. We appreciate your understanding and adherence to these policies ahead of time.
Attendees to the Academy of Applique needing to cancel a class or event registration will be bound to the following schedule and terms: Cancellation must be sent in writing on or before January 15, 2023 and will result in the issuance of an EVENT CREDIT for the class(es) missed. This credit will remain on the student’s account for the subsequent year and can be applied to any comparable class. This credit has no cash value and cannot be refunded. If a registered, and fully paid, Attendee cannot attend the Academy, the registration (or EVENT CREDIT) may be transferred to a fellow appliquer with notification to, and at the discretion of, the Administrator of the Academy of Applique (Barbara Blanton). Any attendee cancellations that occur after January 15, 2023, including “no shows,” will result in the forfeit of any and all event fees collected.
